Film School Rejects: WTF: Rajan Zed Is Still a Turd!

This kind of stuff has been going on for centuries. People always criticize and try to censor mediums they don't understand.

The person above me is right. There is censorship everywhere, including my beloved Indian motherland country. All religions have fanatics, and fanatics will always be offended by every stupid thing out there. I've been attacked by right wing Muslim fanatics who were offended by my strong, feminist liberal Muslim characters that I wrote in my plays.

Whatever. Who cares what anybody out there think.

I thought maybe he'd take objection to the Indian character, if I remember correctly, there was one.

Actually, in the book, the assassin was Arab, I think. But he's a white dude in the movie.

Although there is a cardinal with a Texas drawl, which is pretty hilarious in its own right. (And Felipe from Three's Company is also a cardinal. Awesome!)

I think someone needs to tell the Anti Love Guru that people in America don't look on movies as instructional films like they do in other countries.

Self-appointed is right. Sadly, his call for the disclaimer at the end of the film would have been granted in India, by a secular government that nevertheless caters to every whimsical demand of the religious loonies. Angrybroomstick, my sympathies.
