He's the boyscout...Why are they making him "an angry god" for? Trying to prevent kids from finding a new fictional hero?
I agree with what you said, throw some Doomsday and a few batarangs, and you're good to go.

What they should do is the life and death of superman story. Right out of the gates you could have Superman battling Doomsday. Just think of the cinematics. Then the Justice league come in to help so your getting all these extra character's in that could lead to future movies. Once he's dead bring out the new Supermen. this could make a fantastic movie and it's probably every fanboy's wet dream.

Personally I don't find anything wrong with them making Superman a little bit darker,but on the same token to not over do it.I know that he's supposed to represent the becon of light in a world of darkness but,times have changed now.I think now in todays society everyone is rooting more for than anti-hero than anything else.They've never attempted to update Superman in anyway over the years and thats why I think he's becoming irrelavent.The days of" take you vitamins and say your prayers era" are long gone know.I think people are tired of there intellegnce being insulted.

NOOO!!! YOu cannot change Superman!!! The reason billions of people love him is for who he is, whether you think its lame or not. He is EXACTLY what we need in today's world. people forget its not uncool to be good. Dont screw up with Superman.!!!

lois gets seriously hurt by a villian who can match superman's strengths, superman get's mad...bingo...you have an angry god.

go read alex ross's kingdom come, he gets pissed at humans near the end...it CAN work.

actually to behonest superman did go tbad 2 times i believe in the eclipse saga and teh monarch as well superman did change his attire and batman actually beat him it was late 80's early 90's my pop confirmed it with me i actually remember the issue like i just read it. dc made it kinda as a what if spoof to marvel. but they actually made a chronicle out of it then i also believe there was a timeline that superman made a evil copy of himself by mistake. then there is bizarro. and to key it off. justice league was defeated by doomsday. supes shoulda beat him and never would have died if loius lane didnt get in the middle of it. but hey theat s why supes beat him soundly 2 times after that.and why only batman is the one guy supes truly fears cus batman isnt a boyscout and he will kill.

Superman has been around a long time and to not let that tremendous amount of power psychologically effect sum1 at a few points is not human. This is the interesting thing about superman as well as any other hero, he may have super abilities but is tied mentally to the state we are: decision making, love, ANGER. I think this may diversify his character and possibly bring a new following of fans to his legacy

i think it would be a great idea to go into depts of superman being angry/bad. only then perhaps his true power could be unleashed. it doesnt make sence that the most powerful being is wasting his powers on simple ppl helping them, when he could take over the world and maybe universe... it would be awsome to see superman try and take over the world and destroy everything while others try and stop him...
