Boiling Point: Twilight
I am happy to see Johnny Depp in a serious, non-wacky role.. finally. And this movie should be good.
Anything with Bale....count me in!
It has Bale in it, that's all you need to say to get me in the theater. That guy is a seriously talented actor. His films are ALL genious in my book, and his performances in them are always fantastic. But I will admit that the raspy Batman voice in TDK pissed me off big time. What the hell was up with that? Does anyone here know why he did all his costumed lines like that? Is there a reason, or was it just Bale ad-libbing? I am seriously hoping someone told him to do that, because if he CHOSE to do that, well I'd have to rethink my stance on all of his performances.
Bad voice work in one performance wouldn't erase all the good he has done previously, but that was pretty stupid.
And Johnny Depp is just icing on the cake. That guy is pretty damned talented too. I agree with ANGRYBROOMSTICK that it is good to see Depp in a serious role. I love the personal connection Depp has to the character, and I think that will make his performance even more compelling. I just can't wait to see this movie. Even though we all know what ultimately will happen in the end, it doesn't lessen my desire to see it. I'll be there on opening night!
And I've gotta disagree on Depp. I think he lost his film mojo. The guy hasn't been in anything good in a really long time. I just dont think I can trust his choices anymore.
I'm really worried about this film.
Plus the iPhone compatibility you guys set up is great. Thanks
And then a band of convicts who have run away off-the-farm led by a dapper George Clooney runs into Baby Face Nelson when some of his folding money's come unstowed. Nelson proceeds to shoot the livestock.
