  • D-Rock · 1 year ago
I feel like if you've read a Michael Crichton book, there's a good chance it's Jurassic Park. And yup, that's the only one I've read, so I guess it's my favorite.
  • Robert Fure · 1 year ago
Well I read more than one! Guess I'm alone. I read all the Jurassic Parks, Andromeda Strain, Congo, and Sphere. Either Jurassic Park or Andromeda is my favorite. The Lost World was disappointing.
  • Chris Fernandez · 1 year ago
Jurassic Park was the BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!! The book was way scarier and awesome.
  • Jeffrey · 1 year ago
This is an unpopular opinion due to the book's ending (and, worse, the film adaptation), but I have to say "Sphere". Call me a sucker for existentialist science fiction. The autobiographical "Travels" is surprisingly interesting, as well.

    My favorite is Jurassic Park.

"sphere" was a novel that could have been a great movie. "jurassic park" was another. the soundtrack album for the original movie version of "andromeda strain" was in same the polygonal shape as the film virus and the album sleeve opened like a camera iris.

I don't really have a fav; but I guess it would be Outbreak.

Ok- it's been awhile since my "Micro-biological Applications" class, therefore I cannot honestly enamor you with my wisdom of all things germish. I did enjoy "Jurassic Park" but my favorite title of his has to be "Eaters of the Dead".
The book is complicated as all get out, Crichton was way out there- and certainly ahead of his time. Great contest- Thanks!

I've never read one of his books, although I've seen lots of movies based on them.

Let me go with virus/bacteria info instead. This is so basic every 6 year old should know it, but most adults do not. Viruses cause colds and flus. Antibiotics do not kill viruses. Therefore, it is totally dumb to see your doctor and get antibiotics for a cold or flu! Now everyone who read this go and share this info with all your friends and family ... you know ... like a virus.

I remember when the book of Jurassic Park first came out and I bought it. The book was so good I didn't put it down until I finished reading it. The book was alot better than the movie. I would have to go with Jurassic Park. Count me in to win
