Film School Rejects: Win Kung Fu Panda and Secrets of the Furious Five on DVD!

  • ddog · 1 year ago
god thats a hard question so many different charectors to choose. But my personal fav has been THE MOLE from south park: bigger, longer, and uncut. That little boy was the funniest moment in the entire film which says alot cuz that still holds as one of the funniest movies iv seen in theatres. I laughed my head off when he proclaims that he hated his mother too when she attempted an abortion with a clothes hanger while he was still in the womb....I would throw in a lil quote here that he says in the movie, but sadly I dont know any without any curse words. It really cracks me up every time i see that lil 8 year old kid . Any child on screen smoking and cursing god gets my thumbs up. Crazy french kids..
Is it kinda odd that i was tossed between choosin the mole from south park and Rafiki from the Lion king. that crazy lil bruce lee monkey was seriously the best part of the whole film...well him and cheech.

I think the Pink Panther is, because I grew up watching him and he was pretty funny. There has been a lot more really good one lately really hard to choose.

Abu from Aladdin: I shouldn't have to give my reasons but since you asked, he's
too fucking awesome. Climbs over shit, provides comic relief and I honestly can't
think of a funnier animated monkey.

I love Winnie the Pooh probably for the same reason I like Po so much.... I'm a sucker for overweight, food-motivated bears. He's sweet and silly and knows how to be a friend.
It may seem sappy now, but I still am as much of a fan as I was a child...

Brock Samson from the Venture Bros. He kicks more ass than any character ever.
  • Jon · 1 year ago
Early Cuyler from Squidbillies. He gets most of the best lines on the show and is based on Unknown Hinson, king of the country western troubadours (who also plays him). What's not to love?
  • Raz · 1 year ago
This is such a hard choice. On the top of my head I would say Bugs Bunny, he is a timeless icon..

Pete the Magic Dragon is my all time favorite animated character. For one thing he is a dragon, that alone is wonderful. The next reason is that he loves unconditionally. He is playful, loyal, and just wants to make everyone happy. The way he seems to be true to himself and his friends all during the movie is inspirational. He loves apples, and that is always a bonus because not only does it him charring them up make me crave apples, it also looks neat. I want to start a bonfire and instead of roasting marshmallows I want to roast myself an apple. He is also very innocent and naive, very refreshing. In fact when I am having a bad day I just imagine how Pete would handle it- though depending on how mad I am, Pete's reacts more severe (playfully so) while maintaining a very sheepish grin- and I am able to giggle my way through it. Besides if I could have any animated character around, why not have a beautifully drawn, and innovative (for the time it was made anyway) dragon around who will create a spark of amusement- yes, I meant to make that a pun :p- but will protect me with fierce loyalty. The apples are just a bonus.

Probably Rocko from Rocko's modern life or Charlie Brown. They both embody the average
every day man. They both struggle like all of us and i love that. I find comfort in seeing
characters having and dealing with the same troubles i do. They are plenty of characters
out there who looked better or had better one liners but these two are a perfect combo of
what a cartoon character should be.
