One hell of an Over-Rated pile of shit.
  • Doug · 1 year ago
I think Andy Samberg (of SNL) would make a good sub for Tom Cruise's character. It'd be fun to see his reaction to the increasing crap that occurs in the movie.
  • Sami Al-Qaisi · 1 year ago
    Adam Brody
  • Peter · 1 year ago
Joshua Jackson could play Tom Cruise's part. Katie Holmes could play the female lead. Dawson could play the friend, and Tom Cruise could play the college recruiter or the pimp. Yeah, that would be a hit.
  • Colleen Jensen · 1 year ago
I think Zach Effron from high school musical would be a good choice.
  • Jonathan · 1 year ago
Sean Faris (Never Back Down and the upcoming Forever Strong) Great young actor and pull off the part!
  • Marilyn · 1 year ago
    seth meyers from snl
  • L. M. · 1 year ago
I think Penn Badgley from that Gossip Girl show would be a good selection. He's young enough to still pull it off, unlike the SNL alums or older dudes. I think it would work well. That or Emile Hirsch, he's already done a Risky Business style movie (Girl Next Door).
  • Ray · 1 year ago
John C. Reiley or Will Ferrell!
  • Dee · 1 year ago
    Casey Affleck
  • ilryn · 1 year ago
i say the producers go with a different direction....like you get Mel Gibson or maybe Ringo
Star and it takes place at a retirement home.
  • Sam · 1 year ago
i'd like to see Michael Cera (superbad, nick & norah) just to see him in a role that isn't overly awkward and to see how well he pulls it off.
  • Christy Schultz · 1 year ago
I agree, Zach Effron would do great.
  • Jon · 1 year ago
    Seth Green
  • ellen cunningham · 1 year ago
I'd like to see Jimmy Norton take Tom's place.
  • Grant · 1 year ago
Chicken Little. He did "we are the champions" so well, i figure he could do the undie slide well too.
  • Max · 1 year ago
    Adam Sandler
  • Jeffrey · 1 year ago
Tom Cruise, if only for the comedic potential.

But, yeah, Zac Efron might be able to pull it off.
  • kelvin hobson · 1 year ago
    always liked this film!
  • Grant · 1 year ago
    OH CRAP...
    all these are horrible...
    Zac Efron would be horrible...
and a few of those picks are in their 30s plus!
Adam sandler can't play a high school student...

    Anyways... i say Drake Bell.
And i am certain he would be the best pick, and anyone who thinks i am wrong... we should seriously fight with knives...

    BRING IT ON!
  • Alex · 1 year ago
Jason Biggs. See him dancing in his underware with a pie.
  • Anne · 1 year ago
hmm I think Shia Lebeouf (sp) could pull it off.....he's young enough, has talent, he's funny......yep, I would pick Shia.
  • Mr.Death · 1 year ago
Right now, I can't think of any mainstream actors who could play this role as well as Cruise did. Micheal Cera might be able to pull it off, but even that's a risk.
  • windycindy · 1 year ago
I have to admit that he was funny in this movie. An unforgettable scene. Please enter me in your drawing. Thanks, Cindi
  • Raz · 1 year ago

  • Virgie · 1 year ago
    My kids says Zach Efron.
  • Geri · 1 year ago
Adam Brody or Michael Cera would be interesting choice so, of course, they'd probably cast the perpetually orange Zac Efron...or be inspired by those American Idol Guitar Hero commercials and cast that goober Archuleta.
  • valerie mabrey · 1 year ago
    Joe Jonas would be great
  • Homero · 1 year ago
Zac Effron would work, although I think James Marsden would do pretty well if he was made to look a bit younger.
  • David Hollingsworth · 1 year ago
I think that Josh Radnor from "How I Met Your Mother" could be a great casting decision, and it would be interesting to see how he would handle the situations in the movie.

some movies are legendary and shouldn't be re-made, just my opinion. I don't care for most of the picks to replace Tom Cruise.....I think if you pick someone, it should be a 'no name' new actor. Definately not Johny Depp or Brad Pitt, what are you thinking...they are way to cool for that role, esp Depp, not his style.
