Lets find Osama Bin Laden. If we found the guy I think alot of americans would sleep better at night and we would save some face as a country. I mean how hard is it to find a 6'6" guy on dialysis who lives in a cave somewhere?

The near impossibility of childless adults who aren't elderly or *completely* disabled to get any type of assistance when they're in need. Most states exclude these people completely from all but perhaps $80/month in food stamps if they're lucky. And private charities are so overwhelmed that they always help the households with children first, and if there's nothing left for the childless, too bad. There's a huge incentive to have welfare babies in this system, and a lot of working poor adults falling thru the cracks, unable to get any help until their health degenerates (from lack of basic care) to complete, irreversible disability.

I would make a documentary about the human trafficking trade in eastern Europe. I think it's an issue that most people, especially in the United States, have never really seen before. Publicity, especially for innocent children, could really help put pressure on the governments to crack down on the slave trade.

The cause would be gov't OVERSPENDING- and I'd get back to taking care of MY country and It's legal citizens: we ALL need food, jobs, medical care, ect- we live here and there's too many suffering.

Or maybe I'd do gun violence- ya know some kids grow up watching their peers and family die RIGHT HERE IN THE USA and belive their only routes in life ate selling or doing drugs!

I would want to do a documentary and really try to clear up misconceptions that Americans have regarding the Middle East. I was fortunate enough as an American white Christian woman to live in the Middle East for years, immerse myself in their culture, and I was accepted wholeheartedly and always treated graciously. The men took great care to treat me with respect. You would never know that with the way that Arabs are portrayed in the American media, to my great dismay. I would love to really do a bold, accurate portrayal of the vast majority of the Middle East.

The health insurance industry. Medical needs are a fundamental right for all U.S citizens. Not just those that can affordable the ridiculous premiums.

I live in Victoria, BC which is on Vancouver Island in BC Canada. To get to Vancouver BC we take a ferry ride of over an hour and a half.

I think if I had to choose a subject for a documentary regarding my city and the city of Vancouver it would be about the vast number of homeless, mentally ill, drug addicted people living on the streets in both cities and the lack of social service agencies to help these people.

Years ago, BC closed its largest Psychiatric Hospital and the majority of the people that were hospitalized there, ended up on the streeet. I feel ashamed that this country, this province and these two cities have allowed this to happen; we as a society should be judged on how we treat our citizens who cannot stand up for themselves.

I also believe that regarding the drug addicted people, there should be free and very long stay rehab programs. There is a Reason people are on drugs and usually its to escape some pain that they have endured, be it emotional or physical pain. (believe me, I know as I am a recovering addict who has emotional issues) People that are addicted to drugs, CANNOT get better in 30 days!! To save our society, we need to invest $$ now to PREVENT and HEAL people before they turn to drugs and alcohol. I believe that in the end, it would cost less money to do it this way, compared to the bandaid way its handled today!

Housing here is extremely expensive and there is not enough affordable housing for people who are at or below the poverty level. It is our duty, to care for the sick and the poor. We need to look at ways to build affordable housing.

Well, I'll get down off of my soap box now as I could go on and on all day! This is a brilliant way to win this dvd btw!

My call to action would be a documentary on the number of people in our prison syste. I do believe in justice and harsh prison sentences for our criminals, but boy o boy, we sure have overcrowding. What can we do with it?

I would do a documentary showing what it really looks like to see a pile of animals gassed because their owners were too stupid to take care of them properly. I work for an animal rescue group, fostering pets, in a rural community. Last week alone, we got calls about 73 kittens! Most communities have lowcost spay neuter programs. WAKE UP people!!

My call to action would be all about hollywood writers, and how they feel the need to adapt certain novels, comics and other artist work and tweak it for a more acceptable audience. Its called art for a reason, originals should not be changed. Keep the stories that are written many of the comic book movies that are out are drastically changed for hollywood, and then people blame the actors for the poor sales, its not bad acting. Its bad, lazy and poorly written.

If I was able to make my own "call to action" style documentary it would be called The Forgotten Ones. It would be about the middle-class in this country many of whom are struggling so much financially. I would draw attention to their struggles in hopes of getting politicians to do something about those struggles.

My project would have to prostitution and human sex trafficking worldwide. The topic is taboo in many areas, and some of these women and men disappear and are never seen again as in the publicized instance of Natalee Holloway, and her case is just one in millions that happen on a yearly basis. Not only does it effect the people involved but whole families and communities are effected by it in some areas. Other parts of the world have few ways of coping and few resources to stop trafficking. There are so many issues that need awareness that don't get enough.

I would make a documentary about greed, the reason behind most wars and suffering in the world. It would site historical situations and show the reason behind certain actions of agression. I would then give strong "hints" about present day problems and suggest that the viewer make some conclusions. That is all the public is ready for right now. The film would include ways to contact people and organizations that can direct them toward ways to participate in making the world a better place.

My call to action would be the lack of education are children are getting. We really need to start paying our teachers more, and make classrooms smaller. I believe we also need to put more effort in making sure our children do not got lost in a non english speaking enviroment. I live in AZ and so much is put on teaching non english speaking children, that our own children are getting the short end of the stick,
