Boiling Point: Twilight
And the egg scene is good fun, and classic cinema.
very VERY well and he's funny as all hell. The relationship between him and Redford is
classic in that movie, the mentor and mentoree. He nailed that part.
I find that Paul Newman's finest hour was in Sidney Lumet's The Verdict. Newman played the part with such subtlety and an quiet, unspoken dignity that it's one of his finest performances. I think that the collusion of things made his performance that much better. In addition to just having the right "fit" for the part, he was the right age, and had the right experience of enough of life to have (in some ways) identified with his character.
I'M LISTENING TO THE FREAKIN SONG !!
ah the film has so many classic lines and newman was fantastic in the film.wish there were more movies like this nowadays.
my favorites for a while.
behind his eyes. a great performance that in my opinion holds its own against the likes of
brando. And newman makes one heck of a salad dressing...
love him in that film, but then again, there really wasn't a film I didn't like him in :)
roles and performances.......!!!
THANK YOU GOD BLESS
Why?
It was just bad ass.
I think I enjoyed him in Butch Cassidy and the Sunshine Kid the best! So my answer is Butch Cassidy!!
i like the way he and elizabeth taylor interact in this movie ant the fact that he does most of the movie with no shirt doesn't hurt either.
How about Murphy in Fort Apache the Bronx. Great character study.
BTW, I love the score for Cool Hand Luke by Lalo Shiffren

In contemporary usage the line is usually an illustrative mockery of the principle behind it; the allocation of blame or fault for refusal to agree with or accept a powerful nemesis. The phrase is often articulated with a Southern American drawl in imitation of the character who first delivered the line.
actor, and a friend for all mankind. Paul Newman you will be greatly missed
