Film School Rejects: Will A ‘Wolverine’ Sequel Involve Game Shows And Poop Chutes?

    I would really, REALLY like to see a Storm movie. Please, PLEASE, PLEASE! MARVEL, DO A FEMALE SUPERHERO MOVIE, GODDAMNIT!

    I think Beaufoy is a great choice....Fox needs to be hiring writers of this quality more often....I have doubts that Gavin Hood will return after the creative clashes he had to put up with....the question is even if they have an amazing script will Fox be able to hire a capable director for the sequel? since they scare off anyone with talent...if they could talk him into it I'd love to see Matthew Vaughn take a shot at it....I can't even imagine what X3 would have turned out if he had stayed on...

    while my excitement for first Wolverine movie has been muted... the film doesn't only focus on Wolverine's origin but also Deadpool's...it's really become another X-Men film with the overboard amount of well known mutants (Deadpool, Gambit & Cyclops) taking up screen time....I really hope the sequel is more lone-wolf style with Logan fighting Yakuza clans and hopefully we'll see Kelly Hu reprise her role as Lady Deathstrike....the second film needs to be very dark we need to see Logan go through more pain and grief to the point he trusts nobody but himself...I have a strong belief that 20th Century Fox has lightened up the film over it's production and made this more of the same....people who have seen footage say it's going to be a lot like X3 which isn't the best news...

    Wolverine is the only franchise Fox can make work because he's one of the Marvel favorites only second to Spider-Man...I would say Hulk is better known but isn't as popular with the target audience

    Wonder Woman is moving in the right direction....so you'll be seeing that before a Storm movie...

    I'd love to see one but I can't stand Halle Berry these days...I'd like it if they ended up casting someone younger and current like Zoe Saldana (Avatar, Star Trek)

    But they did do two Femal SUper Hero movies, remember Cat Woman and Electra?? Miserable failures but they made them.
