Film School Rejects: Watch This: You’re Sure Halloween 2 Isn’t Direct-to-DVD?

IT looks like it should go direct to DVD. Not impressed BUT horror is not my genre at all. I miss all horror movies on purpose. Nothing original in horror these days.

What are you talking about? This trailer looks great!

I think this trailer looks great. Yeah, there are a couple of things in it that I'm not sure work. Overall, though, this trailer has made me more excited about a film I originally cared nothing about.

Wow... this trailer rocks compared to anything I've seen from this trailer that Zombie promised not to make. And I hated his remake so... you're obviously not seeing the trailer that the rest of us are.

That was a good preview. Get off your high horse.

Yeah this is going to be complete shit. After seeing this film, I'm sure I will be going back to the original Halloween 2, wishing Zombie could have made at least half as good as the original H2!

No idea how the movie's going to be - but this trailer looks awful. Probably why it was unused in the first place. But some of the line delivery is just about as flat as you can get. Help. I'm trapped in here. I promise I'll be back in just a second. Ugh.

But it doesn't look direct-to-DVD. More like a Lifetime Television Movie.

This looks like a really bad Final Destination sequel. It lacks all of the zaniness of Rob Zombie flicks... the sets look like they are straight out of Supernatural (i.e., crap shot in Vancouver)
  • Phoghat · 3 months ago
Yes, but Supernatural is better written.

There were some rough spots but there was some good stuff in there too. I've always liked Zombie's music choices, despite how strange they may seem.

The one thing that I don't like is that it looks like Danielle Harris' character is going to get the shit killed out of her. I hate when someone survives the first movie and then in the sequel they show up just to die. Tons of movies do it and it always feels like a cheap out.
