    So, let me get this straight...

    Disney is supposedly going to distribute both Dreamworks AND Pixar films?

    I...wow, Okay. I mean it's all a little different now that Disney bought Pixar, but, yeah, they've distributed Pixar since the beginning.

    Disney bought Pixar in 2006 with Steve Jobs joining the Disney Board of Directors and actually owning more in stock than Michael Eisner or Roy Disney. Like, six times more. No idea where he stands next to Iger though.

    In fairness, it was Universal's fault for not paying enough attention to Dreamworks, they were bound to end things eventually. Oh sure, they say they're still going to be friends, but we all know how it'll go. They'll exchange a couple of emails at first, and then they'll try to avoid one another, try not to make eye contact during awards season, until eventually, they find themselves at the Oscars, drunk and vulnerable, and then the next day, they wake up together with shame on their faces and 9 months later...BAM! Madagascar 3.

    Not sure how serious you are with your first point, but do you really think of it as Universal's fault?

    I wasn't even slightly serious with the first point. I don't know enough about why Dreamworks were shopping for a new distributor to decided whose fault it was. I seem to remember reading something about it a few days ago, but at the end of the day, something happened internally that I'm not aware of so I honestly couldn't say. If you know something you're welcome to enlighten me.
