Film School Rejects: Two New International Speed Racer Movie Trailers — Go Go Video Game Mode!

    i remember hearing that there was going to be a speed racer movie and was super excited. then the first trailer was released and i pretty much lost hope. i was hoping it was going to be fun and somewhat ridiculous movie. anyways the new trailers dont really help my worries of this being just a stylistic crapfest. but that might just be me. anyways i too have faith in the mustache lol.

    Yeah I agree the trailers have a tad too much helpings of FABULOUS! *snap* *snap* all over it. I don't even know how to react to the new camera they're using. Sure, it keeps everything on set in focus... Woop-dee doo. I'm sure it'll help stylize other films in the future, but to start it off on Speed Racer? Astroboy, now that's something to work on in live action. Unfortunately, Sony holds the rights to that and it's initial plan failed. I still wish they would work on that even if it'll be all CGI.
