I think the same people will go over and over to contribute, and if it fails in the box office, it should make enough cash in DVD sales to make sequels.

Very doubtful if it can go over that well with audiences other than the teenie boppers who read the books. It'll at very lest make its money back from production. But they are getting way ahead of themselves for a sequel or trilogy or series or whatever. Maybe straight to dvd kinda stuff but no LOTR.

It is the most wonted vampire movie. Very body loves to see vampires in love. I personally believe that Twilight is a changing event for many vampire movies. As the vampire loves to ordinary women and also because of that her life gets into danger. Not by him but by vampires who seek blood is in the town. "teenie boppers" aren't the only people who read the books at all. then again, we obviously have different tastes because i fell asleep during LOTR.
i think it should make enough money to keep making sequals. the fans are pretty crazy and devoted

I was disappointed with the script from the first movie, and am not encouraged to hear the same scriptwriter is hired for the next two films. It was impossible for anyone who had not read the book to follow the movie completely with Twilight, to get the "in-jokes" as it were. I felt the best lines from the book were left out of the movie, and some of the new scenes were train wrecks (Cullen kitchen scene), and the whole thing about Bella cooking because her dad is a disaster in the kitchen was changed to them eating out at the local diner all the time for no good reason I could see. I am hoping it was just because she was pushed for time because the first script was thrown out by the director. I was also disappointed in the quality of the wirework done in Twilight, and hope that with more studio support (read: bigger budget) the effects and stunt work will be higher quality. I have seen better effects on home movies on Youtube by teenagers. I am very concerned with the choice of director for the next film, as it will encompass werewolf transformations, and it is so easy to get those wrong. Maybe get the guy who directed Van Helsing, the effects were great in that flick.

they'll just cut all that out and make it at the diner ;l LAME catherine is good btu she just wrecked the WHOLE ENTIRE THING.. that is so stupid i could puke.. but still they should get a bigger budget too

It was the best movie and the book i've ever read. Perfect cast and playing. What's more? I'm not a crazy fan, but it made me feel smth great.
