This is very exciting. I am also a HP fan but the fact that Twilight was moved up makes up for the...*coughcrapcough* that the WB is pulling on us fans. I cant wait!!

I was so upset when I found out that Potter has been moved to next summer. I, myself, am a pretty big fan of Potter. However, I must say, I am a little biased because I like Twilight a lot more. So, needless to say, when I found out Summit was moving up the release date.... I almost died! Potter who? I was ecstatic and I had to tell everyone I knew who I spread the Twilight addiction to. I can't wait! I am so excited. Now if only we can get IMAX to play it in their theaters for a midnight release, I will be in heaven.

Hunter, you're awesome if you read the books. I think Neil has already read them which makes him awesome in my book. Cole, I can't wait til you watch the movie because I really would like to know what your opinion is of it because yours will be unbiased as you haven't read any of the books. Am I correct about this?

Excited for the early release but really hope it lives up to expectations. Even if it doesn't I will still go watch any films to follow, as the books made me a die hard fan.

Cole...when are we going to get more wicked reviews about the Twilight Saga.I'm eager for more of your witty, sarcastic and ultimately entertaining writing skills!!!

I must say I was (am) upset about the release delay of HP. I think it shows how little fans really matter. On the other hand... TWILIGHT earlier.. YES!!! I will be there at midnight with all of my friends. As for HP I might wait till it comes out on video. I think it would be great if every fan stayed away that first weekend and make THEM wait for the money to come in.

Just curious: why are you guys so obsessed with these books? I mean yeah they are good, I've read them all myself, but i dont see how a person can get to this point of obsession where people need to check websites and all of this like every day. Like i have this friend who cant go a single day without something twilight-y. Dont u think thats kinda sick?

I am super excited for Twilight to come into the theatres! I mean when I found out today that the release date was moved up I raved about it for about 2 hours!!! I think this movie will be a total hit and if you haven't read the book yet then read it before seing the movie so you can be just as excited as I am!!!!!

Twilight's earlier release date is the silver lining in the dementor tainted cloud that has HP opening 9 frickin' months late. I love both series, but WB is a little too confident that HP will draw the big numbers the way OoTP did. What they seem to be forgetting, is that OoTP was released two weeks BEFORE the final book!!! It was a HUGE, GIGANTIC Harry Potter summer, and they just effectively killed the final surge fans were riding by shelving the movie.
So....TEAM TWILIGHT wins this round. And I'll be anxious to see how HP fares next summer... I see dwindling returns on the horizon.

Yeah, everyone will get over it (or act like complete hypocrites and watch it in secret, lol). I'm more excited for the movie than I ever was for the book. Twilight was a pretty good series overall, but Robert Pattinson is my dream cruise ship (forget boat), so I'm looking forward to seeing his sexy ass on screen.
