Twilight Saga: New Moon Sets Records, Hauls in $140 million
These people are crazzzay!
I'm not ashamed (but close) to admit I'm fan of Twilight and am looking forward to the movie, but I'm not expecting it to be some sort of masterpiece. I'd have to be delusional. If it's a fair adaptation I'll be pleased and try not to cringe too much with the crappy stunt work. On Friday I'll be one those moms taking the kid and one of her friends to the movies with fingers crossed that I don't have to murder any twitard who cannot keep her squeals to herself. And then there is the evil part of me who waits for the whiners who complain and cry because of the changes they made for the movie.
And judging from the previews, the acting looks just awful. Like robotic daytime television prettied up for the big screen awful. You know, like when Keanu Reeves sends mail into the future.
I happily do not give a shit about what the youngsters are into.
I really love it when all the Star Wars geeks bag on the Twilighters for dressing up.
Seriously, it is far worse to dress up as Obi-Wan than to be wearing a "team Edward" shirt from Hot Topic. At LEAST, those aren't costume worthy...
There was a Harry Potter v. Twilight argument raging for half an hour.
I, naturally, stepped in and became Sweden in this situation mentioning that Chronicles of Narnia is a perfectly acceptable fantasy series and that C.S. Lewis did it first.
BONUS: The argument stemmed from how real each of them were.
