Film School Rejects: The Ten Best Transformation Movies

  • Aleric · 10 months ago
I would have to say the Fly is a better choice for the number one spot than AWiL. There was too little werewolf in the movie.
  • Heather · 10 months ago
Doesnt The Thing count? All the transformations in that were WILD.
  • Rob_Hunter · 10 months ago
You are correct Heather. Cole is wrong. And 'The Thing' should be in the #1 spot.

seriously wtf. thats def up there with AWIL and THE FLY with most disturbing (i know, its not most disturbing tranforms) transformations. i mean just the legs coming out of the head scene deserves to be on the list.

Guess Transformers: the Movie back from the 80's didn't make the cut.

  • drew · 10 months ago
Thinner is a really good. Several bizarre transformations... and gypsies!
  • soo · 10 months ago
    THE THING!
  • Rynoman · 10 months ago
And not even an honorable mention for Gremlins(1 or 2). For shame.
  • Ralph Thomas · 10 months ago

Wow, this top ten list is pretty weak. Most notably, I can't believe that John Carpenter's 1982 remake of "The Thing" wasn't juxtaposed to "An American Werewolf in London"... Serious oversight IMHO.
  • CTRL>FRK · 10 months ago
This list needs 100% more "Tetsuo the Iron Man".
  • David G · 10 months ago
Maybe top TEN was too short a list, huh?
  • Rob · 10 months ago
How about Christian Bale's character in the Machinist? Bale dropped 62 pounds to play Trevor Reznik, and ultimately the audience sees what a drastic turn the character has taken for the worse.
