Arou101 · 11 months agoAfter being a devout atheist, this article has made me find God. It's obvious now that God made the twin towers fall to stop any production of this movie. Amen.

Arou101 · 11 months agoYou honestly think this would be interesting? I think it would have ruined the magic from the first film. And yes, I know it was a douche move, and knew I would get shilled for it. The real joke, however, is "amen" means nothing to me. Sorry if you didn't get it.

Davebaxter1989 · 11 months agoWhy? This film would be infinitely more interesting than about 98% of what Hollywood puts out. I'd watch just to see the Forrest meets Tom Hanks segment. I'm sad this film has been lost to the crypt of films that never were. On another note amen-ing 9/11 is still a douche move.

Davebaxter1989 · 11 months agoI disagree that it would ruin the first film as there is no way even if it wasn't great can they take the first film off my shelf and change it. It's there and I've got that regardless. So yes I think a Tom Hanks/Robert Zemeckis film gives me more hope than another fucking spoof movie. And amen means shit to me as well just like your mother but I still wouldn't attack her because I know that she's important to you. So in that roundabout way I can see how what you said can hurt many that DO have a very emotional response to that particular event.

Nathan · 11 months agoSounds like they were going to turn Forest Gump 2 into Monk.

RobertFure · 11 months agoEric Roth mentioned the novel, but also said that the sequel would have had nothing to do with that storyline. But the book sold pretty well, I think.

jack2jack · 11 months agoForest is a classic. I'm glad there won't be a sequel. I still yell "Run Forest, Run" when ever I see someone trying to run quickly. It always brings a smile to peoples faces.
