Boiling Point: Twilight
No matter what, this film is going to rule all since it's being written by my favorite screenwriter, John August. If I still cry every time I see Big Fish, does that make me less of a man? I think not. Just don't tell anyone.
I have been similarly impressed by The Rock's ability to play villainous characters (Doom for example), but when someone thinks about him they don't think of a boy becoming a champion, they think of a big scary bastard. That's Black Adam if you ask me. I doubt he has the ability to play a man the way a boy thinks a man should be.
I do however agree that crying doesn't make you less manly, I can't watch Braveheart without getting misty eyed....oh and beheading some English people. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So The Rock should be Captain Marvel and let his humorous, over the top, good natured self come out and leave the more dramatic (in my opinion) acting to someone else to roll with Black Adam.
A quick IMDB check shows that he voiced Dr. Fate on Justice League, which I think is pretty awesome.
