Terminator opens Thursday at 7ish in most places. There were midnight screenings last night/this morning. Any idea how it did?

Steve Mason thinks Night at the Museum 2 will win the weekend..which I highly doubt, since Salvation was a great "popcorn" flick...made up for Wolverine/Angels & Demons...Museum 2 looks just as bad as the first one...kids need more films like Goonies featuring kids having adventures...Stiller is not funny period...why have cameos from comedians ten times more talented than your lead?...

My thoughts on it aside, there\\'s no way Terminator takes the weekend. Night at the Museum 2 is the first family film in 2 months, families are desperate for summer entertainment, and if it\\'s just as bad as the first one, then it should promise at least 42 million its opening weekend (and that was on Christmas Eve against We Are Marshall and Rocky Balboa). I\\'m pretty sure it\\'ll have a higher opening weekend than the first - even if Salvation makes around 50, Museum will beat it.

Plus, popcorn flicks are fun. Not bleak.

Now I have to go and buy 10 tickets for Salvation just to prove Cole wrong...lol.

Salvation is tracking at $57 million for a four-day weekend. Better hurry up and buy those tickets, Aleric. :)
