None of these movies really jump out on any level, except Gervais' Ghost Town. I guess you have to have a few weekends that there isn't really anything going on.

As for Dane Cook's movie, his name will probably bring money to the film, like Sam Jackson's, just no where near the level. Good Luck Chuck brought in >13.5M on opening weekend, and Employee of the Month brought in over 11M. Not that this movie is going to be any good, but if it's better than either of those, I would expect it to do somewhere in that range. (which is right around where you put it, I suppose.)

There was a lot of 'anyway' in this article. I have no idea why that leapt out at me.
