I had a chance to see Four Christmases the other week at a pre-sceening event and it was pretty damn funny. I really didn't care to see it and thought it would suck but Vince Vaughn saves the day. He is hilarious in almost every scene he's in, in my opinion he carries the film. Never been a big fan of Reese and in some scenes she has this weird lisp thing going on. I'm going to give it a "B" grade, not too bad.

I wouldn't say that Australia is an "important serious movie" made by "important serious people." I wouldn't call Baz an important filmmaker. He hasn't done enough stuff yet and he needs to earn the title of important filmmaker. And I think that Australia WAS made in order to win the B.O. or at least make a lot of money at the B.O., otherwise why would any studio would want to spend $150 Mil on it and another $70 Mil to promote it?
