No comment on that but I'll buy it.

I totally agree, especially after having seen Bienvenue Chez Les Roses, but I'm angling for a fight. I'll meet you outside behind the internet in twenty. Bring your brass knuckles.

Damn it, I got lost on the information super-highway and went to the MS Dos Bar. I suck at directions. Is the fight over? Who won?
  • CaptainReg0981 · 10 months ago
Ok Adam you need to take Gemma A out of that list I liked Olga in QOS better than her. What about Meryl Streep? Mamma Mia and Doubt but then it would be fair to have someone a bit younger huh? Maybe Cate Blachett for Ben Button, Indy 4?
  • Adam_Sweeney · 10 months ago
Cate Blanchett definitely was in the running for the top 10, but I had to strike a mark against her for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

    That's true, ouch!

i liked the "Caddyshack" reference at the end of Elizabeth Banks' write up.

and Henson was beyond amazing in "Ben Button"

Your list is immediately invalidated for neglecting Olga Kurylenko in Quantum of Solace and Max Payne, and Mila Kunis in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Max Payne.

Your list is then revalidated (?) for mentioning my name.
  • Adam_Sweeney · 10 months ago
Your comment is immediately invalidated for mentioning Max Payne in the same breath as a top 10 list.

Your comment is given credit again because I just plain like your icon, and you're a good writer. So that is a double whammy.

Aw, you guys are so cute...
  • Adam_Sweeney · 10 months ago
Damn you, Brian! Don't mock our masculinity or respect for the Reject brotherhood! 10 lashings!
  • CaptainReg0981 · 10 months ago
    ROTFLMAO!
  • CaptainReg0981 · 10 months ago
ROTFLMAO! Rob did make a point but we all have our own picks.

I agree a bit... I love Gemma Arterton but Olga Kurylenko made a stronger impression on me. She's definitely a talent to watch in 2009... she's in some Israeli-ish thriller or something right? Let's hope that after her success in Quantum of Solace she'll pick her movies right. :)

I think Kate Winslet is one of the greatest living actresses, if not the greatest. My favorite performance of hers is in "Eternal Sunshine". It could have been a very kooky character, one of those indie girl cliches (a Manic Pixie Dream Girl), but instead kept her grounded with her a-little-craziness.
  • CaptainReg0981 · 10 months ago
I was rooting for Kate Winslet as well since she had two movies out (Revolutionary Road and The Reader).
  • Adam_Sweeney · 10 months ago
Kate Winslet immediately came to mind when I made the list. It's nice to see fans giving her some love.

    Nice list!
Elizabeth Banks is going to rule Hollywood any day now.

Tina Fey needs to be on every female-oriented list. In 2008 she hit starred in Baby Mama and won every major award for 30 Rock. Boom!
