    i absolutely loved this movie. its definately my new favorite. oh man it was soooooo good. it was so meaningful and gave me a lot of respect for the coast guard. im definately buying this and watching it 8794561231567845 times.

    THE GUARDIAN WAS THE BEST MOVIE EVER AND I THINK IT DESERVES AN A+ NOT A C+!!!!!! I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!

    Hey- my two cents worth: The Guardian does try to give a behind the scenes take to the Coast Guards BUT it does detract from itself by casting pretty boy Kutcher as one of the main characters. The acting is nothing to wax lyrical about and I agree that it is an attempt at creating a simulacrum. Having said that, I did enjoy the movie- on the rented DVD; one of the many that I will rent again in say.. 12 months' time...? Cheers! :)
