Film School Rejects: The Dark Knight: To IMAX Or Not To Max

    It's a pity we don't have IMAX theatres here in Peru. We barely have two (yes, I said TWO) 3D theatres in the whole country, so I guess I won't have any choice but to what the film at a conventional theatre.

    Still, like you said, it would have been awesome if Nolan had shot the whole movie in IMAX. I bet that, since he and his team have become pretty much experts at handling the IMAX cameras, they could do it for the third film. Now *that* would be amazing.

    The choice is simple for me, as it will be for the majority of people living out there in Hickville. We won't get the IMAX version here in Tallahassee, FL for months after its initial release. Then we'll finally get a copy from a "real city" after they're done with it. Sloppy seconds, in IMAX.

    The movie looked awesome in Imax, except that you could see that Nestor Carbonell is wearing eyeliner in every scene.

    Is the Dark Knight a success, because of Ledger’s death? Some people have said that the movie blatantly played on the symbolism of 9-11 with the poster, some say it’s a great movie, some say heath ledger played his best role. What do you think? please give us our opinion
