I hope the Dark Knight score doesn't get the award. The amount of electric percussion made some of the music sound like it belongs in a Blue Man Group album. I could just picture their orchestra having a bunch of PVC pipes in the percussion section for some of the music, and it just sounded terrible. I'll be sticking to my Batman Begins soundtrack, and the two scores Danny Elfman did for Burton's films.

I'm inclined to agree with you. There were some interesting parts of the score, but wouldn't say its oscar worthy. Definately doesn't stand up to either of the Elfman scores.
