    Heck, no. Throw away around 400$ to buy this movie that's overrated anyway? Nope.

    Don't get me wrong, the movie is excellent, but enough is enough.

    Meepo, imo it's worth it. Overrated.....ha....funniest thing i heard

    I'll settle for the boring old standard DVD.

    I think this might cost me a few hundred dollars. I've been itching for an excuse to buy a blu-ray player (got the 1080p tv, but no blu ray) and this might be it!

    Absolutely! This movie is great, and I'll probably get the Batpod set just because it was one of the best movies I've seen in theaters in a while

    Did anyone pay attention last year? With Black Friday Sales coming in a couple months, everything electronic is going to be on sale. That includes Blu-ray players, Blu-ray discs, and HDTV's. Blu-ray won the format war less than a year ago, and the general public is finally starting to understand what it is. And then there is going to be Christmas sales. The prices of everything Blu-ray are bound to come down, and HDTV sales are going to sky rocket. The Dark Knight on Blu-ray is going to be the game changer. It was the same for The Matrix when it was released on DVD. The Dark Knight is the hottest, most talked about movie of the year, and come Christmas, everyone is going to want to watch it on their fat, brand-new HDTV. Blu-ray is going to benefit tremendously from all of it.

    @ILostMyDrumSet

    dude the best deals are always the weekend before black-friday, I've been in electronic sales for years, Black-friday is all junk, the cheapest crap retail can throw around to bring in customers, You'll find better deals on great products the weekend before black-friday.

    my question is simple and no one has even thought to ask it. Will the imax footage be kept at 16:9 or will it be cropped like 35mm release. there a 720p bluray torrent of the dark knight at sample screens show imax being cropped. if so its not worth buy thw movie. I am lucky i have a crt projector. i can run up to 200hz, run bluray at true 24p not pulldown. Crt projectors are the best deal around.
