Good list all around though, looking forward to most of these movies. However tell me that Mr. Tenika is wrong about Bitch Slap not being rated R. If so it then kind of remindes me of that DOA movie, only with big guns, and no Kevin Nash. Geesh you gotta hate/love when they put 3 hot women in a "B" style movie and then just tease the watcher the whole time. Those bastards.
By the way I'm a girl lol and my college minor is Women Studies. Go figure :)
Well who would of thought bumping into a girl who is all about gratuitous nudity in movies who also as a minor in Women Studies? Only on FSR.
I like your style Tenika.
hahahahaha
My checklist for any movie: Bale, Bale, Bale, Bale, Bale!
i agree with you guys, i would totally watch the guy paint a fence!
Oh yeah, I've never seen a Harry Potter movie either. Never got around to it I suppose.
I dunno about everyone else but I'm really excited about the way comedy crime capers (Burn for Reading, anyone?) are making a noticeable appearance. I just gotta check out The Brothers Bloom and This Side of Truth for that reason alone. I don't know what your opinions about Adam Sandler is, but I'm tired of him and his brand of comedy. It just isn't that funny at all and I wish he would do a movie that's more in the vein of Spanglish.
The directors cut adds things were just criminal to have removed....but it is understandable because movie studios don't like 3 hour movies. If you've seen the D.C. and still think it's a bad movie, well then there's just no hope for you. The Abyss is easily in my top 10.

Fox is, as stated, the right owners to Watchmen; thus, there is no way it will be able to come out in 2009, even if WB manages to buy the rights.
So.... hurrah to the top 24 most anticipated movies of 2009 *waves flag*
1) Watchmen (never read the graphic novel, but looks sick)
2) Wolverine (looks like a great story)
3) Star Trek (finally an epic bad ass version of the greatest sci-fi ever)
4) Terminator Salvation (simply bad ass alone)
5) Transformers 2 (need I say more)
6) G.I. Joe (looks promising. Hopefully it's not chessy)
7) Avatar (curious to see Cameron's latest film in 12 years)
Everything else I would have to see on DVD. Not because their not good, but the economy sucks right now :) Damn it!
A MOVIE IS MISSING......... HOW COULD THEY NOT MENTION NEW MOON.
WE ARE APPALLED BY THIS BLASPHEMY........ AND SICK TO OUR STOMACHES TO LEARN THE SAD TRUTH THAT IS THIS THIS LIST
THANK YOU THAT IS ALL.....
NADIA AND JECARA
