Film School Rejects: Tarantino’s Inglorious Bastards in 2009?

I'm the only one from my circle of friends that doesn't like Quentin.

He seems to be put on top of some sort of film god pedestal.

Don't get me wrong, he has made some good films... but he as also made some snoozea
paloozas. (yes i was waiting to use 'snoozea palooza' for a while now)

    @Jeremy

I am with you. Death Proof was snore... good chase scene... snore... decent chase scene... Chicks punching Kurt Russell in the face.

As well, I have met QT... And I will say publicly that he is sort of a douche. Just throwing that out there...

    Haha Neil,
Yeah the coke and cash have takin there toll on Quint.
And yes a douche nozzle is more like it. :-»

I liked the writing in Resovoir Dogs (I forgot how to spell resuovre), but the film was just too violent to be watched a second time. + I heard that he ripped off the idea from some Japanese film.
Pulp Fiction was his best work (IMO). Mainly because of the writting and editing style. (And Bruce Willis)
    Kill Bill, was good ,,

But Death Proof was annoying, having female actresses read a Tarintino script was like nails on a chalkboard.
    However:
I did laugh at the final shot.

I agree Pulp fiction was a good movie, however I didn't find Kill Bill to be that fantastic. It
was a decent movie(s), but far from great.

    But thats just my opinion.

I'm a QT fan. I'll admit it. The man is a master of small talk as dialog. I dug both Kill Bill segments.

But, I'm pretty sure the title of this news piece and the text could have been a revamp of "Tarantino’s Inglorious Bastards in 2008?", "Tarantino’s Inglorious Bastards in 2007?" and "Tarantino’s Inglorious Bastards in 2006?"

I'll believe it when I see it.
