Film School Rejects: Talking Points: What’s Your Favorite Football Movie of All-Time?

    Would think that there's a bunch of movies that vie for the "best" football movie, each of them cover aspects of what it's like to play, the sacrifices that a person makes of their body and in some cases, even their spirit in order to play. Here's my take on some of the best, as always, ymmv:

    1) All The Right Moves - Cruise actually does a good job of showing the passion about playing and Nelson does a respectable job of the Coach who wants things done his way and has to get into power trips with one of his best players.

    2) North Dallas Forty/Semi Tough - liked how the players tried to cope with their sacrifice to the game and the corporate indifference present made them question those decisions.

    3) The Longest Yard - for the scene where Reynolds throws a football into Ray Nitzsche's nuts on multiple plays.
