Film School Rejects: Sundance Review: I Love You Phillip Morris

Movies that manage to balance touching, comedic, and intelligent moments are always the best. Felt this way with Fargo or Lost in Translation. The story sounds really intriguing, and ever since Eternal Sunshine, I've been a fan of Jim Carrey. He just needs the right vehicle to showcase his acting chops. Looks like he found it -- definitely looking forward to this one.

Nothing against gays other than I'm straight and there's nothing here for me.

I watched MIlK because it had an educational aspect but this film could really kill Carreys career. Good luck!

A love story is a love story and this film sounds like it’s got some relatability no matter what your sexual preference is. It also sounds a lot of fun and as Jim Carey has been one of my favourite actors for a while now (and I quite like Ewan McGregor too) I’ll definitely see it when it’s out.
