You're wrong to assume that about Kevin and the statue of David, by the way. We both saw the statue together during a trip to Florence, and he didn't say, "Ew." In fact, he stood for several minutes contemplating the genius and scope of Michealangelo.
However, when we saw the Venus de Milo in Paris, Kevin flipped out and screamed, "Oh, shit! That woman has no arms!!"
The security at the Louvre was much rougher than necessary when throwing us out, I think.
