Christopher_M · 2 months agoPirate movies were their own genre way before POTC...I expect with all the new pirate themed films in development we'll see a resurgence of the good movies coming back...I'm just hopeful they keep it somewhat realistic and remove all the awful lore and magic that Disney has been exploiting as story/plot...

coachjon · 1 month agoI think Speilberg is going to do a great job. As a result of a long relationship with Crichton, and when taking into consideration the writing style of Crichton. It should make for a great film. Assuming of coarse that the book is as good as expected.
