i believe the casting is great you have the cheerleader from drumline, the crazy hitman from smokin aces, harold(nokumar) and shawn him self...but all kiding aside, casting sound greati totaly see these people in their respective roles, not "hey look, shawn is the ships engineer..." itll be scotty, sulu, uhura and shatner...i mean kirk...lol

I really don't see this film re-launching the interest in Trek or NASA for that matter. Its going to have a certain look that's never been done with the Enterprise, but I just don't think Joe public gives a shit anymore.
I find the prequel concpet lame, and I'm actually pulling for this fillm to crash and burn in JJ's face.
