If they need a big movie star villain, forget that Pacino rumor/casting/whatever, get Connery. Pacino is an over actor. Though I wouldn't mind seeing Bond throw him from an airplane.

Kind of a cool idea, but despite Connery's comments I'm pretty sure it's just a pipe dream. Sounds a bit like a bluff, too - I think he feels comfortable saying this because he knows they're not going to offer him loads of money to do it.

Great idea, that would actually be not only cool, but funny as well. I'd love it if he would show up on the screen, saying "shaken, not stirred" to a bartender! Anyways, I guess that Liz can be right - it's most probably a bluff... *sigh*

I'm sorry but this is the greatest idea I've heard for the bond chronicles. Daniel Craig may have given the whole thing a glimpse of life but Sean Connery playing a villian would be money in the bank.
