Film School Rejects: Sam Raimi Says “Yes” to More Evil Dead

I hope they make it. Evil Dead rules.

What would you say if I said, "I haven't seen Evil Dead, YET."?
  • Robert Fure · 1 year ago
I'd say "Evil Dead 2 is better, but start at the beginning, and soon."

@ Cole, you don't need to watch Evil Dead 1, since 2 is basically an exact remake with a slightly bigger budget. And you can skip Army of Darkness too... just watch A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court and you're golden.

I think it's time for Raimi to crap or get off the pot. He's been saying this forever, and Campbell's been towing the line along with him, saying that if Raimi's involved, he'll do it. Just do it, or don't already.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see another Evil Dead flick. I enjoy them (though, not rabidly like some). But this constant same answer Raimi and company give when asked (every interview too) is enough to drive one to cut off their own hand with a chainsaw.

If it would get him away from Spiderman 4 I say go for it. We all know his heart wasn't in the last one, so why not get back to doing what he was best at?

Well Cole, it would mean that you are a liar. You've seen it twice. And I would call you a cinematic idiot. It's so funny and violent and the soundtrack kicks fucking ass.

    Its from High Fidelity children...
