    I smell a victorian lock stock & two smoking barrells.

    @Nish...

    Now that you mention it, that would be pretty badass...

    I have a huge fan of 1) Sherlock Holmes & 2) Robert Downey Jr. This couldn't be better for either! Guy Ritchie wrote boxing into "Snatch" and it was a brilliant movie. I don't see RD Jr. as a boxer, Victorian or otherwise, but he surprised the hell out of me in Iron Man. This is going to be great!

    I don't think there is a single role on this planet that Robert Downey Jr could not play to perfection. He's a genius, pure and simple.

    Is it in fact true that Jude Law will be playing Dr. Watson? Please say yes.

    Sounds badass is how it sounds. Downey Jr. will rock, and I am so looking forward to this.

    I love Sherlock Holmes and I do love RDJ. But I don't find RDJ a correct fit for the super sleuth. The original Sherlock Holmes is based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's depiction. Can't be any other types of description, for then there wouldn't be a Sherlock Holmes.

    I am torn about this. I feel Jude Law should have been made the super sleuth instead!
