Looking at DeNiro's recent filmography, my first thought when he says he left due to "creative differences" is that he left because the film just wasn't mediocre enough.

Robert, I liked Lethal Weapon 3 not 4 though. It was the entrance of Rene Russo's character kicking butt, which is why I liked it.
