Yeah, I think you got it - the key to the whole film is that it's a comedy in the classic sense, something that hasn't been made in a while. Things work out alright, but there's no dramatic moment at the end, no one really learns a lesson (except Stu). Really refreshing to see an R-rated comedy that doesn't pull punches or feel the need to shoe-horn in a moral at the end.

I still just don't know about this movie. The trailers never did it for me, with the exception of the brilliant Tyson singing scene, and I have been burned too many times by comedies in recent years. Reviews are off the charts and I would love to love it, but I am going to wait a week or two I think to see how I feel about it. The Rake http://thefilmnest.com

The film is beyond funny. I was in a packed theater and everyone was laughing. Sometimes I couldn't hear the dialogue because there was so much laughter. I will probably go see it again.

Graham is wasted? She was only in the movie for 3 minutes and showed a boob and I still thought to myself "Wow what a horrible actress." You can't waste garbage, Hunter.

Whenever I saw the trailers, I just thought it would be one of these un-funny comedies being made today, but instead I decided to watch it, and oh how I was wrong, I thought it was hilarious, probably could have been better if you changed a few things, but over all a really funny film.
