Walked out of the film, the critics want to think again. I didn't go to see a documentry about violence in India. They also have a very different version of the TV show where contestants are insulted when they arrive on stage - is that so ? or just to another sensational directors' adittion,

The movie was RUBBISH !!! Forget the lukewarm script and the tepid all-round performance, whats most pathetic is the director carrying the patronising 'white mans burden'. Sure poverty exits and in cases its as bad as whats shown in the film, but give us Indians an break and show us for how far we have come in the last few years ....

this was the most up its self movie i have seen in a long time. all about male dominance and money. can no-one see that? I thought it was manipulative, predictive and cliched. get a life SM fans, see a real movie, or better yet, go and live life.

From my point of view it is the movie of emotion, action, love and brave but it has created some questions also - Movie is positive towards the slumdog guy but it is in reality? Will the dream give the right direction in the society of slumdog?

Finally, a movie showed true side of mumbai, because what we see in the indian dramas and movies are all nothing but fake. I have been to mumbai couple of time and I know reality.....

A distorted version of reality about slums!

seriously, there needs to be a movement to stop focusing on the worst of india...it is a fantastic country..and not only about slums!!!!

indeed...india is an extraordinary, fantastic and amazing country. But there are things that can't be accepted and digested by a typical civillized minds happening all around (not only india). Why should we focus on something positive and neglect something negative happening behind the screen? Will we agree if a man who is feeding 10 people has a right to kill 1 person? Bad is still bad. Crime is still crime. Poverty is still poverty.
