Film School Rejects: Review: Role Models

  • Trace · 1 year ago
    I remember seeing the trailer attached to Tropic Thunder and I didn't care for it. For some reason, the trailer that debuted on TV seemed different - cuz it was funny.

    "I will hit a child. I've never done that before; I will punch you in the face." If FSR gave it an A, then I guess I'm going to see it.

    @Fure

    What was your first favorite comedy of the year?

    I loved Tropic Thunder this year, that's my number one. Forgetting Sarah Marshall was also pretty good, but I liked Role Models better.

    I got a chance to see this when Paul Rudd was in Chicago and thought the same thing--it's a very quality film with plenty of laughs. It's definitely operating on the same level as wedding crashers, and Superbad as far as relatability for younger men.

    Robert you shouldn't give soo much away! You practically gave away the ENTIRE plotline. Three sentences would have sufficed!

    Those are good picks, Fure. You've earned my respect. We should hang out sometime.

    Glad to hear it, D. We Rejects know how to/love a good Party, so keep an eye out for my mug all over town if you're ever in Hollywood. Odds are I'm the loud angry one.
