    haven't seen [REC], so I couldn't say.

but it did make me want to see [REC]

I'll still see both movies for comaprison and scare I love horror flick shit but this must scream like a 10 year old girl.

Okay, so you give a C- to Body of Lies but an A- to Quarantine, whose trailer looked so fake it made me laugh out loud. Come on, seriously, that final shot in the trailer were she is rapidly being dragged at light speed across the floor into a pitch of darkness is the definition of amateurish. Anyone whose seen a good horror movie would yell WTF? right then and there.

I love it when people critique movies they haven't seen based solely on the trailer.

Nate you must not watch a lot of horror movies if you think that is unbelievable. (Also, zombies, vampires, werewolves, and unkillable menaces are believable?) That scene looks pretty cool.

haha yeah, I actually like that shot where she gets dragged off into blackness.

It really shows in your review that you haven't seen the original at ALL. I'm sorry but this cash-in remake even have the guts to cut the original's ending, which if you don't know it's what has made it a classic among film critics and fans.

Go wathc [REC] on your computer or buy a copy off Amazon UK and see what you're missing be4 giving much credit to this dumb down american reimagining.

This dumb downed american reimagining just made over 14 million.
The budget was only 12 million...
Not so dumb afterall if you know your audience. Eh?

Chris I agree with you a 100 percent. I actually was enjoying Quarantine till they
changed the ending from the original. The whole final scene made no sense. I highly
recommend everyone see Rec and see the true brillant ending

The less you know the better. Didn't see REC don't plan to, it sounds good from what I hear. All I know is that Quarntine delivered from start to finished, superceded my expectations, so for REC fans you might be dissapointed I wouldn't know but for those who haven't seen REC go see Quarntine first.

Shouldn't the same person review this and [REC], becasue that would be the smart thing, no offence. It's just conflicting is all

Excellent Horror movie! Very claustrophobic and atmospheric. Although the Quarantine is identical remake-copy of Spanish Rec, it is still very good.
