Film School Rejects: Review: Jennifer’s Body

What's interesting to me is in most interviews it seems as if Diablo's screenplay started out a lot darker and scarier and as it went into production and changes started happening, some at the behest of Kusama, it took on more of the lightness.

I was fortunate to see this movie at its premiere at TIFF. I would say that any negative aspects the film had were clearly caused by Kusama's inexperience and lack of talent

    Including Fox's acting?

You and Kevin have quite the different opinion about this movie. How bout a showdown after we have had a chance to see it?

I was very pleasantly surprised by how good I thought this movie was. Or at least, how much I liked it. And I concur with the comments about Megan Fox doing a good job with the part.

I thought this movie was crap. I would even say that Drag me to Hell was a better movie and I wasn't even very impressed with it.
This movie just wasn't funny and wasn't good horror. I have to believe that most of the good comments about this film are purely because of the sleaze aspect.
I wouldn't have even rented it from redbox for a buck.

The best contradiction in this movie? Directed at teens and rater R. At least in my country. =/

It's always nice to see Fright night getting props as one of the Horror Comedy classics.

I hope they never get around to remaking it, I know the rights were bought.

Although it could be improved in the efx, music and budget department (most takes place in a a back lot), how could they improve on that cast.
