I'm failing to understand how anyone thought the Wayans brothers were in an "Ivory Tower" in the 90s, or any year. Other than a few seasons of "In Living Color" they have never been great.

I don't know what else they did in the 90s other than in living color and Don't Be A Menace... but Don't be A Menace was a great comedy at the time. I haven't seen it in years to compare how it lasted, but I could see that being an "Ivory Tower" qualification.
I thought Marlon Wayans was fantastic in Requiem for a Dream, although that was 2000 and clearly not a comedy. I am continuously disappointed when I see him spit out these bland spoof films when I thought he had dramatic potential.

I'm certainly not. These types of films should not be allowed to be made. But hey, what can you do? It will make a decent amount at the box office and that's all studio executives want.

These parody movies ARE getting tiresome. But in this instance, as a bboybreakedancer, I have even more hatred for those lame dance movies that started with You Got Served to the recent Step Up films. SO I will definitely go see this as it makes fun of those terrible dance movies that take themselves serious. Yes I am shameful for seeing a Wayans parody, but the dancer in me wants to enjoy the slaying of those ridiculous dance flicks.

I hate all these stupid spoof films. But the only thing that will bring me to ever watching this is because of the Waynes Brothers. I liked Scary Movie 1 & 2... And a few of the 'good' other one they've done, I'll only see it for that value.
