Staying true to a source material doesn't mean a film deserves extra credit. I get the feeling that the second act is what's kept this movie from building any buzz so far.

Don't you think that the time spent in their artificial jail is a lot of waiting? Waiting like you're in purgatory? Waiting to see if you will be able to go on to heaven and be saved or end up in hell?

Blindness is a nice refreshment in the niche of apocalyptic movies. Plot is intriguing, characters are well developed. We see how people can turn into the different persons in special situation.
