Film School Rejects: Review: ‘I Love You, Man’ Explores New Comic Territory

MoMo · 8 months agosaw it last night. really enjoyed this flick. i agree with your first point on why the marketing is a little off. i was expecting a movie a little more vulgar than what i got. i was pleasantly surprised when there was no male nudity (though i did expect some with the jack off station) and only one scene that involved gratuitous bodily fluids. this movie is about the nuances involved with making new friends. one of my favorite running gags here was every time Pete and Sydney would part ways for the day and Pete would just blurt out a random nonsensical nickname. they really captured the awkwardness that is making new friends. great flick.

bry · 8 months agogreat movie. subpar plot and character development but the cast is so damn good and likeable that you end up really liking this movie. plus everyone comes for the laughs and rudd and segel along with the supporting cast bring tons of them. great comedy!
