Boiling Point: Too Early to Talk Avatar?
Fuck you ang lee!
making it more substantive rather than sticking to the comic verbatim. plus it was one of
the coolest visual styles of all the comic movies.
Plus, it was EXTRA sweet to see my lovely city throughout a good chunk of the movie as I live in Toronto and was actually able to catch some of the nights when they shut down streets to do shooting. BTW, the "Zanzibar" that many of you may have caught in the end fight scene that had The Hulk run at the Abomination past the "Apollo Theatre" in "Harlem" is actually a adult entertainment venue well known to Torontonians. It's on Yonge St, just north of Dundas and South of Gerrard St in the heart of Downtown Toronto, in case any of you plan to visit this summer! Enjoy! -(For the Fanboys, the "college" campus that you saw featured in the movie is actually our University of Toronto St. George Campus in case you want to do one of those comic-movie related tours to take pics and claim that you were SMASHED by HULK at the spot of the movie....*rolling my eyes*)-
PLUS-I LOVED the fact that right from the start of the movie they tied Hulk into the upcoming Avengers movie. As you saw blueprints for potential "Hulkbuster" weapons from Stark Industries, written documents on S.H.I.E.L.D. letterhead by Nick Fury, & Captain America was spoken about openly as being reactivated for duty and is doing some "good work" already by Gen. Thunderbolt Ross. Although I didn't actually catch a glimpse of Cap as hinted at by the director who claimed that he's actually in the movie. Plus, the fact that Iron Man makes his crossover cameo at the end of the movie and makes direct reference to The Avengers as a team he's putting together. AWESOME!!!! HULK SMASH SOME MORE & EDWARD LOVE!!!!
