so basically you are judging this entire movie on the fact that he swings from a chandelier?

DETECTIVE SOAP!!!! Awesome! I've been following the progress of this one only slightly, and so far never heard anything about his appearing in the film. That's great! Hopefully the filmmakers continue to make him a bumbling doofus who can't catch a break.

As for the appearance of Microchip... I'm not totally sold on that. Being big on the MAX series, it would be great to see Micro's appearance mirror the first arc in that series, but if they did that? I'm not sure it would be as powerful, seeing how we just met the guy in this film.

Hearing this news, and seeing the clip, I'm definitely excited moreso than before! Okay, he swings on a chandelier, so what. I can forgive a couple'a moments of stupidity if the rest of the film gives up the goods.

Chris: It's not the act of swinging on a chandelier itself that makes the movie seem out of touch, it's the fact that the person responsible for the movie has included such a ridiculous act in the first place. Let alone keep it for the second (better?) trailer.

I'll reserve my judgement until I can actually watch the full movie, but right now I'm wondering what other aerobic achievements are included. How about a few mid air splits where both feet connect precisely with a jaw?

I'm prepared to forgive the chandlier scene and the wall-running scene if Lexi and Stevenson's Castle stays true to the character.
Personally, I'm against Jigsaw being there. Not cuz he ain't cool but because Castle doesn't have many enemies that survive encounters with him.
I will say this: With the trailers I saw, War Zone ALREADY tops Jane's Punisher by a country mile.

Like someone else on here said I'm a Tom Jane loyalist.I got into the comics after seeing The Punisher 04 and as far as i'm concerned Tom Jane is the only Punisher.I'm going to watch this movie when its out tho just to torture myself for a bit.

Being a Tom Jane loyalist has NOTHING to do with The Punisher, Twist. You can trust us true Punisher fans on that.
I thought Jane was excellent in Deep Blue Sea, but again...
What does that have to do with The Punisher?

Twist, that's like saying "I only saw Rex Grossman play so as far as I'm concerned, only HE can play The Quaterback. I'll go watch this Tom Brady character just to torture myself a bit."
