Film School Rejects: Prom Night Movie Review

Ryan · 1 year agoB-??? What kind of curve were you grading this film on? No suspense. No thrills. Bad acting. Characters doing ridiculous things. "I know a serial killer who is targeting my niece has just broke out of the mental ward.... but i really want her to have a nice Prom." Prom Night is amatuerly written and directed. So much so that when it is released in an unrated dvd format all the blood guts and nudity couldn't make this stinker float. I'll take the original with its disco decapitation and surprise killer any day over this junk

Robert Fure · 1 year agoWhen a horror movie would preform better as PG-13 rather than R, someone find that example. Hardly EVER. Maybe some psychological examples, but if you imply any sort of slashing, or hacking violence, you best go R.

tom.uk · 1 year agothis i have to say, is up there with "jeepers creepers" and "the cube" or "cube II" in the running for the most dissappointing, anticlimactic and dreadful movie i have ever had the misfortune to have hopes for as a good way to spend ninety minutes of my life. there was no plot, meaning or purpose to the film, they could have quite easily remade the 1980 prom night movie with the"whodunnit" synopsis with the same budget and made a great film. this was a waste of money and a waste of the producers, directors, all the set staff and my own time. rumour has it that the hopeless wannabe producers in hollywood have plans to remake some more of my favourite horrors from way back when. god help the movie industry. we need more thoughtful, innovative slasher, or "teen horrors" like final destination! thats where the fun is at people! special fx and none o this rubbish. over and out man.
