Well, I love horror films, and will most likely see this one as well. However I'm tired of music video directors getting behind the cameras of films. It usually ends in a load of garbage (Baz Luhrmann's films).

Hopefully this one will be the one that proves to be different.

What about commercial directors being given movies? Eh? I'm looking at you, Michael Bay.

Full disclosure - I worked with Frank Borin and co. on two music videos, but I can say that he's got a really good eye for visuals and good style, bias aside. Seeing the types of music videos he's made - Bowling for Soup and Good Charlotte especially - horror/comedy is probably a really solid route for him to take.

Frank's middle name is Buff. Seriously. He doesn't look like Qualls. He looks like the kid from Gummo.
He is a very talented director. It's good to see him doing a feature.
