No doubt, this will top 8 mill. I agree with Brian, this will top 10. Statham is one of the best new action stars, the box office will come.

Looks like I'll be the voice of dissent. I just don't see this movie hitting over 8 million with its ad campaign so shoddy. One, the trailer is terrible. Two, the campaign is so limited that most people don't even know about the movie. You can all quote this pompous claim back to me later when I'm wrong.

While I agree the advertising campaign is pretty weak, it's an action movie with a fairly recognizable face. With support from his roles in Snatch and more importantly the Transporter series, Crank will be over 8mil. I place it in the top 3 films this weekend with 12mil.

Invincible is going to take some, but Talladega can't go forever. Little Miss Sunshine won't be drawing from the same crowd, and Wicker Man hasn't exactly been overhyped.

I think it goes over 8 million.
